The Go Green Award is designed for the company that demonstrates commitment to environmental best practice, particularly through energy saving or clean energy generation initiatives. Best Use of Foreign Languages in Business

This category has been designed to highlight the importance of foreign language skills in business. The winning company will understand the unique challenges and opportunities involved when working with the overseas market. They will demonstrate the wide-ranging opportunities that can be accessed with both cultural knowledge and foreign language skills in the workforce and the positive effect these skills have on trade, export and customer service. Winners in this category will therefore demonstrate how foreign language skills have given them a competitive edge.

To recognise the outstanding achievement of an individual at the forefront of business activity in Wales, who has demonstrated conspicuous entrepreneurship within their business and/or in the wider business community.
Learning & Development Staff Award

Awarded to the company or organisation that best indicates total commitment to development of their staff to ensure that its organisation’s goals are met. The judges will consider whether the continual access to learning and development of staff has resulted in a positive change to both individuals and business performance. Learning may have taken place through a series of innovative and interactive approaches and have been evaluated appropriately. The winning organisation or company will also show their commitment to creating a greater understanding of working towards becoming a learning organisation, alongside improving their business and performance. Private, public and third sector applications are all welcomed.
