Consultation Event on the Sustainable Development Bill - Cardiff

25th June 2012

Park Inn, Cardiff 10.30am - 1.30pm

Your Invitation to a Consultation Event on the Sustainable Development Bill

10 weeks to share your view and shape our future. Between 9 May and 18 July everyone in Wales has the opportunity to respond to a consultation on a Sustainable Development Bill for Wales.

Make your opinions count. We are holding a series of events that will give you the chance to find out more about the proposals being presented in the consultation document. The events are open to all and are designed to help organisations that will be affected by the legislation - and their service users, customers and suppliers - make an informed contribution to the consultation. This is your opportunity to find out more about what the legislation could mean for public services in Wales and the people who use them.

The agenda. At the events we will outline the purpose and context of the Bill proposals and give detailed consideration to the Duty and how it might apply, as well as the role of an independent body. Throughout the day, which will be chaired by the Commissioner for Sustainable Futures, Peter Davies, you will have opportunities to ask questions, share your views and explore ideas with others attending the event.

The Sustainable Development Bill is an important piece of legislation that will shape our future. Make your opinions count and help shape the vision for a sustainable Wales by taking part.

Book your place. The events are open to everyone and will be held at the following venues across Wales between 10.30am and 1.30pm. Lunch will be provided. We hope to see you there.
